The China Electricity Council (CEC) was founded by the China State Council in 1988. At present, CEC has 1,440 members, 11 classified branches and nine specialty committees. Entrusted by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and other related government bodies, the China Electricity Council also takes over the administration of six nation-wide specialty societies. 30 power industry associations at provincial, autonomous region municipality level are the members of CEC.

China Gas Association Distributed Energy Committee is a
professional committee organized by China Gas Association. Distributed energy
industry well-known companies and organizations actively take join in it since
it has been founded. It covers different fields of distributed energy
industries, and has nearly 40 members. Meanwhile, it makes great effort to the
development of distributed energy.
Henceforth, China Gas Association Distributed Energy Committee

The Construction Industry Sub-council and the Construction Industry Commerce Chamber are branch institutions of the CCPIT and the China Chamber of International Commerce respectively. They are also non-government organizations under China`s Ministry of Construction and were established in 1996 to promote trade and economic cooperation in the construction industry with foreign countries
